Dream recorder.

Though I mostly wouldn't trust my dreams to provide sufficiently coherent material for actual proper writing, they're occasionally worth a giggle and sometimes capable of kicking off an alternative line of thinking. Not last night's so much. I just dreamed I was being rejected by multiple publishing houses and living in a portacabin on the very swinging end of a massive crane. But other times. My father once dreamt Rob Brydon was sitting on his chest, for example. That sort of thing.

Anyway. Please to be recording your own humorous and potentially inspiring in the comments.

I dreamed that I was kissing Ian Hislop - what does that mean?

It means you're Paul Merton.

You are too kind - I'm nothing special. I think of myself as extra-ordinary.

i'm surprised that you don't really think your dreams are a good place to find inspiration. Surely a place as surreal as our dreams (eg, not constrained by our concious mind's limitations) was almost the best place to find new ideas, new beginnings?
But I'm glad you said it as you reminded me of a very powerful dream I had a few days ago and meant to write down, I'll do that now! :)
Thanks for reawakening me...

I have been rejected by multiple publishing houses (and I've never submitted anything). Moreover, I live in a PortaKabin (correct spelling) suspended from a crane. You are intruding on my privacy. Send your name and I will sue.
